The Rhythm
There’s a rhythm
To the road
As it rolls beneath my wheels
I’m not sure
Where I’m going
But I like the way it feels
Even if this road gets me nowhere
Well that would be okay
At least I’ll have the pleasure of knowing
That I got here my own way
Chorus:
It’s the road less traveled I live on
It’s the highway without any signs
And when the road gets rough
And I think I’ve had enough
The rhythm keeps me moving down the line
There’s a rhythm
To my life
Like winter into spring
Like a promise
Of tomorrow
And the gifts that it might bring
And even if it brings me nothing
Well that would be okay
At least I’ll have the pleasure of knowing
That I lived it my own way
Chorus
There’s a rhythm
To my spirit
Like the changing of the tide
And I can feel it rising
And its flying here tonight
Chorus
Chorus
Rhythm keeps me moving
Rhythm keeps me moving
Rhythm keeps me moving down the line
