KPFT, 90.1 FM, is one of the few radio stations across the United States that still supports local and unsigned artists. Chris has found himself in the unique position of being the host of a half hour live radio show, called the HAAM radio show, which features local musicians in the KPFT studio. HAAM stands for the Houston Association of Acoustic Musicians. Chris and April Kelly are the co-founders of HAAM. The show has had wonderful success over the past two years with over 80 performing guests. Recently, the radio station has begun modifying it's program schedule. The HAAM Radio show will be expanding to a two hour format on Mondays from 3:30 to 5:30. It can also be heard on the internet at www.kpft.org. If you have a favorite artist that has performed on the HAAM radio show, past shows can be downloaded from www.kpftx.org.
